Vivian "Viv" Sekeres

Vivian “Viv” E. Sekeres (Yesko), age 98 years, of Fillmore, was called home to be with the Lord on March 2, 2024 surrounded by her loving family.

Viv was born on August 25, 1925 in Milwaukee to Steven and Francis Yesko (Matsek). She was united in marriage Joseph Sekeres, Sr. on October 21, 1944 in Milwaukee.

Viv loved dogs, her farm, crafts, and antiques; but most of all, her family.

Those Viv leaves behind to cherish her memory include her children, John (LeAnna) Sekeres, Amy (Jim) Willkom, and Michael Sekeres; grandchildren, Vicky (Dave), Sarah, David (Jenny), Tonya (Mike), Buffy (Mike), RyAnne (Chad), Jenny, Darrick (Stephanie), Amanda (Paul), Ashley, Katie, Rebekka, Jessica (Sean), and Graci; many great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and siblings, Marilyn, Jimmy, Arlene (Larry), and Eddie (Chris).

She is further survived by son-in-law, John, and daughter-in-law, Nancy (David), as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, Viv was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Sekeres, Sr .; two daughters, Joan (Dave) Fellin and Melanie Reseburg, and three sons, Brian Sekeres, Joseph Sekeres, Jr., and Stephen Sekeres; great-grandson, Parker Hoerig; siblings, Danny (Goldie); brother-in-law, Bill; and sisters-in-law, Pat and Helen (Louie).

VISITATION: Viv’s family will greet relatives and friends on Saturday, March 16, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Myrhum-Patten Funeral & Cremation Service – 1315 W Washington St. – West Bend, WI  53095.

SERVICE: A Memorial Service in remembrance of Viv will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home with Deacon Mike Koebel officiating. Private family inurnment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery - Little Kohler at a later date.

Memorials in Viv’s name can be directed to the Washington County Humane Society.
