Wanda A. Podgorski, (nee Krass), age 88, of West Bend, passed away Monday September 10, 2007 at Ivy Manor in Campbellsport.
She was born on April 27, 1919 in Chicago, IL to the late Albert and Clara (nee Zimmy) Krass. She moved with her family to West Allis and Wanda graduated from Pulaski High School in the class of 1937. On September 20, 1941 Wanda was united in marriage to John W. Podgorski in Dubuque, IA. They resided mostly in West Allis, and moved to her grandparent's farm in the Town of West Bend for several years before moving back to West Allis. They moved back to the farm in 1985. John preceded her in death in December of 2006.
Wanda is survived by two children, Barbara Forster of Greenfield, and John A. "Jack" (Janet) Podgorski of West Bend; four grandchildren, Michelle Forster, Tammalla (Neal) Wishowski, Rochelle (Victor) Segura, and Carrie Podgorski; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a son Greg.
Funeral services in memory of Wanda will be held on Friday October 12th at 2:00 pm in St. Adalbert's Catholic Cemetery in Milwaukee. Inurnment will follow her service.
