Wayne F. Schneider, 76, of Jackson, passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2006 at the Cedar Lake Health Care Center, West Bend.
He was born on January 2, 1930 in Sheboygan to the late Frederick and Elone (nee Mallmann) Schneider. He was united in marriage to Patricia Miller on August 24, 1957 in Sheboygan Falls.
Wayne graduated from UW-Madison in 1957 with a degree in accounting. He was employed as an accountant at Johnson Controls for many years, retiring in 1986 as the manager of corporate accounting.
Wayne enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. He was an active church member and volunteer. After his retirement, he enjoyed traveling with Patricia in their travel trailer.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia; four children, Janet (Richard) Knutson of Germantown, Jeffrey (Wendy) Schneider of Eden Prairie, MN, Nancy Schneider of Bay View, and David (Michelle) Schneider of Mukwonago; six grandchildren, Lindsey Knutson, Danny Knutson, Ben Schneider, Evan Schneider, Jake Schneider, and Adam Schneider; other relatives and friends.
A private family memorial service will be held.
