Wendy A. Wendtland, 53, of the town of Scott, passed away on Friday, January 24, 2014, at St. Joseph's Hospital in West Bend.
She was born on November 13, 1960, in Milwaukee, the daughter of Clifford and Darlene (Mehle) McCambridge. She was united in marriage to Mitchell Wendtland in West Bend.
Wendy will fondly be remembered for her passion for horses and riding and the love she had for her children and grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her husband, her family and by all who knew her.
Those Wendy leaves behind to cherish her memory include her husband, Mitchell; five children, Laura McCambridge of Minnesota, Sherry McCambridge of Waldo, Amanda McCambridge, William Wendtland and Cody Wendtland all of the town of Scott; five grandchildren, Josh, Alex, Cassidy, Taylor and Madisyn; her parents, Clifford and Darlene McCambridge of the town of Scott; a brother, Brian McCambridge of the town of Auburn; two sisters, Toni (Butch) Kreif of Random Lake and Colleen (Scott) Deeter of Sturgeon Bay; three brothers-in-law, Michael (Sara) Wendtland of Germantown, Mark Wendtland of West Allis and Matthew Wendtland of Trenton, other relatives and friends.
Wendy was preceded in death by a brother, Patrick "Kelly" McCambridge.
Private services with family were held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 1, 2014, at the Miller Funeral Home in Kewaskum with Rev. Mark Eckert officiating. Cremation took place.
