William P. "Bill" Fromm

William P. “Bill” Fromm, 78, of Kewaskum, passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2013, at Kettle Moraine Gardens in Kewaskum.


He was born on February 7, 1935, in the town of Barton, the son of the late Paul and Johanna (Segert) Fromm, and on July 4, 1969, he was united in marriage to Rosa Gerber in Germany.


Bill served his country in the U. S. Army from 1957 to 1960. He was employed by Charter Steel in Saukville until retirement and he also farmed. Bill loved to travel and polka music. He will fondly be remembered as “Mr. Fix It”. He was very independent and liked to do things himself.


Those Bill leaves behind to cherish his memory include two children, John Fromm of Theresa and Johanna (Russell) Volm of Boltonville; three grandchildren, Gatlin, Sebastian and Sawyer; his former wife, Rosa Barrett of West Bend; a sister-in-law, Sigrid (Phillip) Grahl of Eden, other relatives and friends.


In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his sister, Bernice Degeler.


Funeral services for Bill were held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 4, 2013, at the Miller Funeral Home in Kewaskum with Chaplain Bob Lantz officiating. Burial, with military honor rites, followed in St. Peter’s Lutheran Church Cemetery in the town of Addison.


Relatives and friends called at the funeral home on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services.
