William L. Rahlf, 81, of the town of Auburn, passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2017, at Cedar Lake Health and Rehabilitation Center in West Bend.
William was born on April 12, 1936, in St. Anthony, the son of the late Emil and Leona (Gass) Rahlf. On June 21, 1958, he was united in marriage to Arlene Pesch at St. Matthias Catholic Chapel in New Fane.
William was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Kewaskum and the Knights of Columbus Fr. Casper Rehrl Council 1964 in West Bend. He was employed by Regal Ware for 37 years and was a member of the Regal Ware 25 Year Club. William proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from 1955 to 1957. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, traveling, and spending time with his family.
Those William leaves behind to cherish his memory include his wife, Arlene; two daughters, Lisa (Todd) Tuttle of West Bend and Connie (Paul) Grauden of Kewaskum; four grandchildren, Ashley Grauden, Joshua Grauden, Dakota Grauden, and Jack Tuttle; three brothers, Lloyd (Dee) Rahlf of Spartz, Nevada, Jerome (Ann) Rahlf of Neenah, and James (Betty) Rahlf of St. Michaels; three sisters, Joyce (Lawrence) Hug of Kohlsville, Patrticia (James) Stoffel of Allenton, and Mary Jean (Dale) Kedinger of West Bend; and two sisters-in-law, Marilyn Rahlf of Milwaukee and Claudia Rahlf of Hartford; other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by four brothers, Walter (Emily) Rahlf, Donald Rahlf, Emil Rahlf Jr. and Roy Rahlf.
A Mass of Christian Burial for William will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, September 22, 2017, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 331 Main Street, in Kewaskum, with Rev. Edwin Kornath officiating. Cremation will follow the traditional mass and burial of his remains with Military Honor Rites will take place at St. Matthias Catholic Cemetery on Tuesday, September 26, 2017, at 3:30 p.m.
William’s family will greet relatives and friends on Friday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of Mass.
