Wilmer C. Felten

Wilmer G. “Willy” Felten, 72, of Campbellsport, was born into eternal life on Sunday, April 22, 2007, at ManorCare Health Services in Fond du Lac.


He was born on November 6, 1934, in Kewaskum, the son of the late John and Elizabeth (Bingen) Felten, and on April 26, 1958, he was united in marriage to Judith Dobrynski at St. Matthias Catholic Church in Nabob.


Willy was a lifelong farmer, retiring in 1993 and was a member of St. Martin’s Catholic Church in Ashford. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and enjoyed polka music.


Survivors include his loving wife, Judy; five children, Carl (Sharon) Felten of Milwaukee, Ronald (Nancy) Felten of Armstrong, Patricia (Daniel) Boyung of Jackson, Dan (Kerry) Felten of Kewaskum and Michael (Cindy) Felten of Eden; a sister, Helen (Anthony) Thelen of Ashford; twelve grandchildren, Carl John, Robert, Matthew, Scott, Brian, and Eric Felten, LCUSMC Daniel (Krystall) Boyung, Michelle Boyung, Nicholas, Jack, Sawyer and Mark Felten; six step-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.


Willy was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Felten and a sister, Marie (Henry) Fellenz.


A Mass of Christian Burial for Willy was held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 25, 2007 at St. Martin’s Catholic Church,N1271 Minnie Lane, Campbellsport (Ashford). Father Neil Zinthefer officiated and entombment was at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday in the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum in Fond du Lac.


Relatives and friends called on Wednesday at the church from 4:00 p.m. until the time of services.
