Wilton A. Kirchner, 91, formerly of Kewaskum, passed away on Monday, September 14, 2015, at Hope Health and Rehabilitation in Lomira.
Wilton was born on January 12, 1924, the son of the late Oscar and Alma (Ramel) Kirchner. On October 16, 1948, he was united in marriage to Patricia Wagner at St. Lucas Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kewaskum. Patricia preceded Wilton in death on February 13, 2003.
Wilton was a member of St. Lucas Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kewaskum. He enjoyed flying model airplanes and going to polka dances. Wilton grew up on the family farm and later bought his own farm in Kewaskum.
Those Wilton leaves behind to cherish his memory include his son, Roger (Patti) Kirchner of Lomira; a granddaughter, Michelle (Stephen) Kraus of Fond du Lac; a great-grandson, Avery Kraus; a brother, Elton (Beverly) Kirchner of Kewaskum, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his wife and parents, Wilton was preceded in death by two brothers, Marvin (Lila) Kirchner and Orin (Lorinda) Kirchner; two sisters, Arline (Leonard) Brown and LaVerne (Roman) Laubenstein and a great-grandson, Samuel Kraus.
Funeral Services for Wilton will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 17, 2015, at Kietzer-Miller Funeral Home in Lomira.
Wilton’s family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. Rev. Timothy Henning will officiate and burial will follow at Lutheran Memorial Park in Kewaskum.
