Marcella “Marcy” Kershaw, 96 of West Bend joined her dearly beloved husband Clifton on Friday, April 21, 2017.
Marcy was born on November 28, 1920 to the Late William and Adeline (nee Krug) Block in Fond du Lac. On June 21, 1939, she was united in marriage to Clifton Kershaw.
Marcy and Clif founded Kershaw Industrial Sales in Dunedin, Florida which allowed them to achieve their dream of travel. Together they traveled to four continents and especially enjoyed their special times in Hawaii.
Marcy was a very warm, loving, beautiful and classy woman. She was unselfish in her caring and love for all. Her fabulous sense of humor will be greatly missed by those whose lives she touched.
Those Marcy leaves behind to cherish her memory include her three children, Barry (Kathy) Kershaw of West Bend, Roger Kershaw of Vista, CA, and Penelope (Michael) Kershaw-Polak of Montreal, Canada; seven grandchildren, Brent (Kathy) Kershaw of West Bend, Bradley (Kathy) Kershaw of West bend, Kelly Kershaw of Milwaukee, Erin (Ted) Kershaw-Hanson of Seattle WA., Ross (Janina) Kershaw of Vista CA., Jennifer Beveridge of NY, Jason Beveridge of Montreal, Canada; 2 step-grandchildren, Tamara (Russ) Strupp of NC., and Tracy (Robb) Reiser of NC.; five great-grandchildren, Cody Kershaw, Kyle Kershaw, Katie Kershaw, Abigail Hanson, and Nathan Kershaw; 5 step-great grandchildren, Brandon (Olivia) Strupp, Blake Strupp, Ryan Reiser, Reid Reiser, and Rhett Reiser; other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Clifton Kershaw; her sister, Viola (Elmer) Oberheu; two brothers, Gilbert (Rose) Block and Malcolm (Sally) Block.
A memorial service in remembrance of Marcy will be held on Sunday, April 30, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Myrhum Patten Miller & Kietzer funeral home, 1315 W. Washington Ave., West Bend.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Sunday at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.
The family extends a special thank you to all the nurses and staff at Cedar Community who cared for Marcy during her time there.
