Robb Alan Pattison

Robb Alan Pattison, age 68 years, of Hubertus, passed away a little more than four years ago on March 6, 2019 at his home.  (The obituary is being published now, after the recent death of his wife, Gail).

Robb was born on September 29, 1950, in Los Angeles, California to Robert E. and Ila V. Pattison (nee Conner).  He was united in marriage to Gail A. Schneider on September 7, 1974 on Gail’s family farm in Ixonia, Wisconsin.

Robb graduated with a Master’s degree in Botany from UW-Milwaukee where as a student he studied the biodiversity of Cedarburg’s bog.  He was also a Vietnam War conscientious objector.  Robb worked as a supervisor for the City of Wauwatosa Water Department, and the Oak Creek Water Department.  He was an avid watercolor artist, drawing much of his artistic inspiration from nature and his lifelong love of Riveredge Nature Center’s prairies, forests, wetlands, and ponds.  Robb and his wife Gail enjoyed traveling together partaking in bicycling tours of Wisconsin.  Their travel adventures were not limited to their home state of Wisconsin – they hiked and camped in the Colorado Rockies, toured Ireland, and explored New Zealand.  Robb and Gail shared their home with numerous four-legged felines over the years.

Those loving family members he leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Gail ( who passed away on March 13, 2023 ); siblings, James O. Pattison, Bruce W. (Linda) Pattison, and Linda Pattison.  He is further survived by his nephews, Sean P. Staples and Conner C. Staples; and great-nephew, Sean I Staples.  Robb also leaves behind his sister-in-law, Lynn A. Weiss (nee Schneider); nephew, Kurt (Anna) Weiss; great-nephews, Elliot and Louis; niece, Kimberly (Matthew) Halleman, and great-nephew, Layne; and other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, Robb was preceded in death by his Uncle Joseph Pattison, Aunt Marion Pattison, Aunt Betty Pattison, and grandparents on both sides of the family.

A PRIVATE FAMILY MEMORIAL SERVICE WILL BE HELD FOR IMMEDIATE FAMILY.
